MEDITERRANEAN FLAIR IN THE EAST
Crisp white umbrellas, colourful summer blossoms and the dramatic backdrop of the island-dotted sea bring a Mediterranean flair to the east and culminate into the perfect lunch or dinner at La Vita; the life.
Mediterranean imagery will imbue a sense of the region to the restaurant with slate and black teak wood floors, high ceilings and a large olive tree as the centerpiece. Flowing water features cast blur effects adding modernity to represent the essential element of freshness of the Mediterranean.
In the tradition of coastal Mediterranean life, the restaurant will emulate the rustic custom of going to market to select the day’s produce. Fresh daily produce will be displayed for guest selection and then skillfully created into mouth-watering dishes from the Mediterranean coast and islands like Corsica, Sardina, Sicily, Crete, Cyprus, Malta and Les Baleares.
The La Vita experience can be enjoyed from the comfort of a terrace lounge or the dining room. Subtle lighting hues from blue to fuchsia will signal sunset when the house DJ will take the ambience in new directions.
LOCATION
Situated on the hilltop, affording dramatic sea views, La Vita Restaurant & Lounge can be reached via a path from the main part of the island or with a buggy from the Lighthouse side. A large lounge terrace that can accommodate up to 50 guests is situated in the garden between the seaside and a natural thicket of jungle.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
La Vita Restaurant & Lounge is an innovative concept combining the lifestyle and atmosphere found in Mediterranean coastal town markets, where residents of the city regularly visit to purchase the freshest and the best ham, olives, mushrooms, breads and cheeses.
The dining room has a capacity of 60 covers, surrounded by sliding floor-to-ceiling glass windows which when opened will allow the fresh sea breeze to pass through the restaurant. The focal point of the restaurant will be an open kitchen, equipped with a brick gas fire bread oven and an oversized wrought iron charcoal – gas grill.
As you enter La Vita Restaurant & Lounge, you will pass through a glass wine cellar stocked with a wide selection of Mediterranean red, white and sparkling wines including champagnes, where one can taste and choose their wines of preference.
Exclusive and fine wines will be available as well as waters from around the world. A professional sommelier will assist guests and suggest wine in accordance with the selected menu.
The wine cellar is attached to a typical Italian-style bar, with a wide selection of Martinis, Bellinis, Limonata, Armaretto, Anisete, Aperol, Tuaca, Campari and all the timeless Mediterranean drinks.
Large ice displays will feature the day’s freshest selection of seafood, meats and vegetables. The menu will be a selection of the products on display. The lunch menu will include light meals. Various Mediterranean originals will also be presented.
The chef will advise on different preparation styles representing the culinary variety of the Mediterranean. Personalized service will enhance the dining experience and contribute to an overall atmosphere of conviviality.
The lounge terrace will have lounge beds under crisp white pergolas, where two to four or even eight people can relax and enjoy the sun set and the view of the Andaman Sea. Guests will be encouraged to stay and enjoy the beautiful scenery as in the late afternoon La Vita will transform into a trendy restaurant & lounge. A house DJ will add to the ambience with soft music.
DESIGN
The interior of the restaurant will reflect a modern Mediterranean ambience.
The center piece of the dining room will be a large illuminated olive tree iconic of the Mediterranean. Once guests have been escorted to their table the friendly hostess will explain the concept, its influences and aims.
The restaurant entrance is bordered by a large circular cellar designed in glass and stainless steel with a separate degustation area.

The restaurant will have thin white table runners enabling the blue and fuchsia lights placed underneath each table to be seen. Modern table centerpieces with decent lighting, oversized white Chinaware, wine glasses and high-backed leather chairs will reflect the summery Mediterranean style.
On the terrace, small fountains, paving, flowers, trees, large white umbrellas, pergolas, and day beds for up to eight people will accommodate guests who would like to enjoy the outside lounge for drinks or dining. The house DJ will control soft music to further enhance the setting.
SPECIAL FEATURES
The concept combines a simple but elegant fine dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere and personalized service.
The outside terrace can be used as a lounge for the early and later evening sessions or it can converted into an elegant dinner set up, depending on weather conditions.
Home made products will be made available for customers to take away with the brand name of La Vita Restaurant & Lounge in order to increase revenue and spread the name by word of mouth.
The wine cellar concept will be a unique feature which is not found in competitor’s restaurants.
The elegant and stylish design will enhance the focus on the product. Flowers, trees and the soft colors will also recreate the Mediterranean experience.
The outside terrace the lighting will change from blue to deep fuchsia as the evening turns to twilight.
The open kitchen will offer fresh fish, lobster, crab, octopus and specialties of the day which will be displayed on ice.
